Our Mission
Mother Gaia Animal Rescue is a non-profit, licensed, foster and volunteer-based rescue for pets in need of new homes. Our mission is to rescue animals in shelters and place into foster homes where they can receive medical care, training, and love until they’re ready to go into their forever home – many of which come from areas with overpopulation and high euthanasia rates.
Due to the volume of incoming animals, Mother Gaia Animal Rescue doesn’t typically accept owner surrenders.
Ladybug Needs Your Help!

Ladybug's owner passed away and she landed with us. When she arrived she had a large, uncomfortable tumor hanging from her eye that pulled her eyelid down. We quickly had it removed and sent out for testing. Unfortunately it came back as melanoma. She needed xrays and an ultrasound to check if the cancer had spread. Luckily it didn't show anything. But she still needs checked out by an oncologist and her lymph node checked. Her bill is over $4,000 for what she's had done (including teeth pulled for her exposed roots). We need help chipping away at this bill, so we can get her going with the next steps.
