Mother Gaia Animal Rescue is always looking for passionate individuals to assist in our cause.
Fundraising.
Do you have experience in event planning or throwing creative fundraisers?
If you can hustle tickets, network with the best of them, and enjoy creating a fun experience to help the less fortunate, we need your help!
Adoption Events.
Some of our foster homes are unable to attend events, or we may have a dog in a boarding facility that needs to get out on the town. Being able to transport a dog to an adoption event is so, so helpful! Setting up tents, handing out information, and being able to talk about available dogs helps make our events a success.
Home Checks.
MGAR requires a home visit for new foster homes as well as potential adopters.
This is a critical role, and without your help we cannot send dogs off to their forever homes!
Transportation.
We also often need volunteers to take dogs to the veterinarians, or to break dogs out of the shelter!
If we receive donated food or care items, they need to be picked up and delivered in a timely manner. If you have a reliable vehicle and the desire to transport, the dogs need you!
Photography.
If you enjoy photography and want to give back to your community, a good photo increases adoptability. We also need photographers for events and fundraisers!
Clerical Duties.
From adoption applications to medical records, MGAR has a lot of paperwork to tend to!
We need volunteers able to screen potential foster homes and adopters, and to keep up on medical records for the animals in our care.
